BTW Zanshin & others, you do realize the regular season doesn't start for approx. a month don't you?  Relax and let people enjoy the draft, if they can't be on here 24/7 or fail to give a list, there other things in life to do.

We started this early for a reason, we are already almost in the 9th round, we are on pace to finish and have 3 weeks left until the season starts.

Relax, use your Zanshin/Gthistle stuff to meditate or take some valium.

That's, as usual, not the point.  Since people know we're drafting, they make it a point to be available.  And the people who don't show on time or provide a list farg it up for everybody else who is being responsible.  

It sucks to know you're turn is up soon and have to keep checking back because someone isn't around or didn't send a list.  It has nothing to do with when the season starts...at all.

People can both enjoy the draft and not bring it to a halt-- just send a list.  It really isn't that hard to shoot a number of names to murp if you can't be around for a few hours.

yeah I admit it is frustrating and annoying but not the end of the world.  you know if your turn is up, and the person in front of you isn't around, then take your own advice and turn in a list.  It's not that hard.  Why do YOU have to be there for your pick and can't just relax, give a list and let it go without raving on people who aren't here.

Seems to me that instead of getting on Zanshin for doing what he is supposed to do, you should be getting on the people who aren't doing what they should be doing. Get your priorities straight.

IMO, we should all calm down.  There will be fifteen rounds and we are at the bottom of round 8, over half way there in five days.  Is there a rush to get this done by a certain date?  I understand the frustration of sitting here and waiting for a pick but let's not take the list thing too far.
IMO picking the players is the fun part.  Otherwise, MURP can sit with a cheatsheet and draft for everyone.  If someone is gone for more than half the day, then leave a list.

All everyone has to do is send a list. It's not rocket science. Well, maybe for you it is, but it shouldn't be hard for everyone else. Send a list and the problem is solved.

CSD you aren't even talking to me or responding to my posts, you are just talking nonsense.  I know we should leave a list, never said we shouldn't.  Did I make a mistake and not leave a list 2 times already?  Yes, my bad.  Not the end of the world though.

Fact is people don't leave lists, people aren't on here 24/7 they have lives to live.  People make mistakes.  it's a game, it's FFL.  Why try to make it some important meeting, or like it's our job or obligation.  This is for fun, to get AWAY from the stress of deadlines and jobs.  No need to be anal or take it so serious.  

So when people make a mistake and don't leave a list, and aren't on, don't freak out.  Relax and leave your own list so you dont have to sit around being pissed off and wait all day.

No it doesn't take rocket science to figure out.  But it also doesn't take a mere child to point out that this is just a game, calm down and enjoy.  This isn't real life, this isn't a job, this isn't the army, this is FANTASY football.

If I could just add my 2 cents here on the subject, hopefully we can settle the issue and enjoy the rest of the draft.  

The list thing is a good idea if your pick is coming up and you know there's a good possibility you'll be gone.  But if you log out and theres 15 picks before it comes back to you, that's kind of unreasonable to ask someone to submit a list that far out.  There have been times when I've watched the board for an hour waiting for my turn and nothing happens.  Then I walk away from my desk for 10 minutes and when I get back I've got 3 or 4 messsages saying it's my turn to pick.  

I think the list is a good idea if you're going to be away for and extended period of time....like a day.  If you take off for an hour, no biggie.  This is the reason we're not doing a live draft anyway, so let's stop acting like we should all be online as soon as it's your turn to pick.
