I wonder how Ariel Young is doing?

Does the permanent (well, as long as she lives) line item on their budget for her care and support sting more or less after losing the Super Bowl?

10 days in and I'm still high as a kite! Absolutely loving this.  Will worry about who's staying and who's leaving later.

I'm also tuned out of all the contracts and draft stuff...the beatdown was so f'n thorough and everyone watched it with their own eyes...f'n marvelous gift to me for the rest of my life

I've been living in a state of absolute bliss.

I'll start getting back into the groove once free agency and the draft heat up.

We went from Buddy's time of ignoring everything on offense except Randall to The Guy in France letting everyone leave via free agency. And then Richie The K and his wet two point conversion chart and Ray Bob.

Andy and Donovan falling short all those years. Andy losing his mind and hiring Juan Castillo as DC. Chip the farg face and his shenanigans. Howie being stuffed in a locker and not leaving for another job and resurrecting himself.

So from 2017 until now almost seems unreal. This season was one of pure dominance and it was the Eagles who put everyone on notice. Pretty farging cool.

Maybe Lurie knew when he said "championships" years ago and was ridiculed.

To funny about some of the clowns we've had here coaching this team.  Just had a conversation with a buddy of mine about all the QB's I've seen.  Man the lifeboats boys, some scary stuff:

1970's - Pete Liske, Rick Arrington, John Reaves, Roman Gabriel, Mike Boryla, Jaworski
1980's - Jaws, Joe Pisarcik, Randall, Matt Cavanaugh
1990's - Randall, McMahon, Jeff Kemp, Brad Goebel, Bubby Brister, Ken O'Brien, Rodney Peete, Ty Detemer,
Bobby Hoying, Koy Detmer, Doug Pederson, McNabb
2000's - McNabb, A.J.Feeley, Mike McMahon, Jeff Garcia, Kevin Kolb, Vick
2010's - Vick,Vince Young, Nick Foles, Mark Sanchez, Wentz
2020's - Hurts, Minshew, Pickett, McKee

HOLY shtein!!  Proud of myself as the only one I forgot was Brad Goebel but the rest some good, some bad, some ugly.

Missing Sam Bradford.

My kid has a Bradford jersey at the moment because it was on eBay for $1.  Little dude growing so fast I didn't feel like shelling out for a jersey he will outgrow in a few months.

shtein, Ryan (think I just missed typing him in ans I will never forget him) and Bradford.  Bradford!  Cant believe I missed him.  I will never ever forget that infamous Pat Ryan Monday Night Football game at Washington 1991.  Randall goes down week 1, peanut brittle McMahon goes down that night and Pat Ryan, who I believe was a roofer just weeks before comes in.  They were lucky they only lost that game 20–0!   I remember being so devastated as that team was loaded that year.  Brad Goebel!  Curious as to how many on this board remember that guy.  That team has a healthy quarterback???  Pretty confident they're probably in and winning the Super Bowl that year.

Quote from: Don Ho on February 09, 2025, 09:15:17 PMWhere is Nolan Smith?

"Eagles edge rusher Nolan Smith underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a torn left triceps injury he suffered during the Super Bowl, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

They reported that Smith will be "ready for the 2025 season."

It's unclear when Smith got hurt, but he played only 30 snaps after averaging 60 in the Eagles' first three postseason games. It was his fewest snaps since before Brandon Graham got hurt against the Rams in Week 12, when Smith began playing significantly more."

Been wearing my SB LIX hat everywhere since it finally showed up the other day.  It's not the best looking hat (gray really) and it has the trucker plastic clasp shtein on the back, but I'll wear it out because goddamn they won it a second time.  Legit thought that wouldn't happen in my lifetime.

Waiting for wife's and I SB shirts!

Damn, been wearing my collection of birds shirts everyday since the game, shtein since Rams game.  Cannot believe how many "go birds" I get at the gym, store, Costco, on my walks.  The honks I get on my walks are the best!  2018 was great but this one is amazing.  The beatdown, AR mouth breathing, Mahomes in shock, three peat denied, etc. this will be tough to top!

I scanned the QR code after the game. T shirt arrived 3 days after the sb hoodie last Saturday.

Turns out they are going to kiss Trump's ring after all.

Disappointing, but the funny thing it's happening on April 28th, which is my birthday.
