I ended up finding a stream to see bits and pieces. The Pirates out Phillied the Phillies. The base running on both sides was bad. Cruz the last two nights yikes.

hate to break the news to you now but you couldve totally watched the game....the fox thing ended like 10 years ago. i know youre a fossil but that some serious old man brain lol

the sosa trade i feel like is to get an optimal defensive late game infield of stott 3b, sosa SS, segura 2B. also to play him against LHP and DH bohm. he had a very good season last year and is having a atrocious season this year. jojo might well be a usable loogy but its a pretty replaceable position and he was going to likely lose his roster spot at the end of the year anyway. worth a shot.

i was in wilmington last night to see painter again. huge L that it took me this long to go to a stadium 30 minutes away but huge L for the stadium because its tiny. ive been in bigger high school stadiums in texas. painter was really good. induced an enormous amount of infield pop ups which tells you how fooled hitters were. mostly FBs, 93-95, early then mixed in breaking balls after the 3rd. strong slider on both sides of the plate. made it through the 6th inning for the first time in his career...it was his weakest inning which is to be expected. at 19 hes been pretty dominant at high A, i wonder if they give him a sept cameo in AA. hes on a path to a 2023 callup and im not joking.
