That being said the episode itself was really farging good. It just wasn't a finale.

The season itself was great, once again enjoying some of the ways they decided to take things. The reaping of the dragonseeds, for example, wasn't really fleshed out in the books. So having Rhaenyra walk them all down there to Vermithor and be like "alright see ya later, the dragon will decide now" was great lol. Hugh and Ulf so far have not been quite what I expected, but will be interesting to see how that develops later.

The biggest change from the book so far seems to be what they're doing with Rhaena's story. They seem to have written out another character all together which sucks.
