I honestly hope they cut Siposs.  Nothing personal...he's one of the worst punters in the NFL.  If anyone has earned a chance to be wontonly replaced, it's him. 

Maybe under pressure a new guy steps up.

Yeah, I don't know.  I really don't.  Except I DO know that last year Special Teams was poor and I do not see anything like an effort by the team to fix that.  To the point I think they're maybe making a statement that it just doesn't matter as much?  They're putting resources and emphasis elsewhere?

Well the STs resources are usually cheap since it's all about backup LBs and DBs. And the coach who isn't bound by a cap.

I've been wondering if Howie will pursue him. I haven't followed the story closely but if memory serves, she still has a pending civil suit and he counter-sued for defamation. I'd imagine if he wins either, or even with one of those settlement with nondisclosure things, the NFL would be ok with someone signing "the punt god".
