Ok, just curious...if you were putting a CD together of your top 15 Hip-Hop songs...which ones would they be?

In no particular order:

1.  Time's Up- O.C.
2.  Dwyck- Gangstarr
3.  The Hiatus- Diamond D
4.  How you want it, you got it- De La Soul
5.  Vital Nerve- Company Flow
6.  Make Room- Tha Alkaholiks
7.  We've got the jazz- Tribe Called Quest
8.  Shook Ones pt. II- Mobb Deep
9.  Love's gonna getcha- Boogie Down Productions
10.  How many emcees- Black Moon
11.  Crooklyn- Crooklyn Dodgers
12.  C.R.E.A.M.- Wu-Tang
13.  Looking over a city-Latyrx
14.  How I could just kill a man- Cypress Hill
15.  I got it bad ya'll- King T

shtein....its hard to come up with lists...and I'm sure there are others that would make it...but many of those songs had special meaning to me so they qualified...anyways.

i believe at least two of the rest of your list is in my top 71 though

also i dont know if its the version youre talking about but if not check out the diamond hiatus remix with the cru....its light years better than the original

That list is atrocious.

I never said dopest hip-hop songs of all time...I just said my top 15...which a case can be easily made for another 20 songs to make the top 15 as well.

Original. I just listened to the remix. Remix is cool, but I feel the original a lot more.

Why.

what do you mean...or am i missing a joke?

I don't get it at all. Gang Starr is sick, but I can't stand that song. Maybe I'm missing something. the first verse by Greg Nice just kills the entire thing for me. It's stuff a 7 year old could come up with and sounds terrible. Maybe its just me, but I don't get why I always see that song on lists like his.
