The only good things are the posts by mds...the rest of our stuff is just flotsam.

this is correct
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I got the mega ball number right (14)

one ticket in Illinois won it all.

I usually get 3 or 4 tickets for mega millions when it gets big - there was a stretch last month were I hit 1-3 balls plus the megaball for 5 straight lotteries which is pretty crazy odds.  still never won more than $10.

got 5 tix last night and didn't hit one single number on any of them.

I bought a Choco Taco a few days ago for the first time in years.  Today I see they're being discontinued.

RIP.  Definitely the best mass produced ice cream thingy.  Like who buys a normal Klondike over. Choco Taco?  Weird choice on their part.

PhillyPhreak54

I haven't had one for years but yeah they're legit. Wonder why they're axing them?

I don't ever win on the lotto numbers but have hit some nice licks on scratch offs

Geowhizzer

Thought about getting a ticket for the big lotto just as a lark... then ended up forgetting about it.

I figure I ended up $5 ahead of 99.99% of the population!

Diomedes

I never buy lottery tickets.

Correction: somehow it became tradition to put a scratch off in stockings at Christmas.  Once s year i buy four scratch offs.

I think I've bought one once... the first time it was $1B?

Didn't get a single number on that one.

Rainy-ish day = more rides per hour, fewer people

America is farging grotesquely fat, holy shtein

Not used to seeing so much Eagles gear, it's great

Sorry to hear that, Dio. I hope you get to run those errands tomorrow.

No, but seriously, sorry man. Don't crawl too far into that bottle.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Diomedes

At 62, one can say he died young...but he died bicyling.  A lifelong passion.  He didn't have to suffer the indignity of dying old in the modern world.

Strangest thing...the opening music, performed by a solo guitar/vocal, was Cohen's "Hallelujah."

Including the line "the only thing I learned from love was how to shoot someone who outdrew ya"

I'm like, damn...what kinda funeral this?

Not sure if anyone watches Hot ones on YouTube but they interview celebrities while eating 10 wings ranging from mild to holy shtein hot. Here's the one with Embiid

Daughter expressed interest in doing the challenge, so I bought the season 18 box of 10 hot sauces. We did the challenge Sunday during football. She was out at #6 (Collard N Ghost 70,000 scoville heat units). I crushed all 10 then did it again yesterday because we had left over wings. The sauces all taste decent to very good and the heat is gradual until you get to #8 da bomb...scoville heat unit is only 135,000 but the way it's made makes it burn as hot as the final sauce The Apollo (2,000,000 + scoville heat units).

For comparison Franks hot sauce has about 450 SHUs...Cholula around 1000.

Anyway fun Sunday if you want to torture your kids
