It's not like we're even close to committing. Houston is on the list but takes a back seat to Charlotte, Philly, Chicago, DC, whatever. It's an idea that was backed up by zero research other than "there's big hospitals there". Good thing I have my CF brethren to knock some sense into me.

Igy did you live around NYC once? Feel like you did. I work on Long Island mostly but we also have an office in midtown a block from Central Park. Even in a nicer part of the city, I'd go insane if I had to go there frequently.

never lived there....my brother used to live in the village....i couldnt live there because of new york sports and its fans.....but take that out of it and just look at the city and its the best place ever and I could easily live in a place like that forever....im guessing you aren't a city person or at least a place as hustle and bustle as there?...I mean that's the only reason ive ever heard anyone say they don't like it

I'd take a city like NY, Philly, Boston or DC over Houston. Those places are congested but you don't have to farging drive everywhere

No one can afford to live in Manhattan unless you've lived there since the early 80's.  The cost of living, especially renting, is astronomical.    Hell, even Harlem is expensive now.

I just feel bad for the guy. I've met him and spent time talking to him and his people and he seems function and human but if this is how he thinks for real then there is some farged up wiring in his head. Not living in one of the greatest cities on earth because of their sports fans? For fargs sake. Seek help.

I'd rather live near NY fans over DC fans but that's just me

meh as someone who loves dc, the shtein you see online is nothing like the people in real life. i mean yeah skins fans are horrible people but it is not a hard core sports city at all. the actual city is so transient that there are as many eagles cowboys and giants fans at bars as skins. the hardcore skins people that are the people we all hate all live in bumblefarg va or md.

Do we were supposed to take out state-mandated writing test today.

And, of course, the state has also mandated that these tests move to computers.

And, of course, the infrastructure that the state underfunded for the schools failed to handle the testing.

So, the test had to be postponed until Thursday.

After that, only tests for reading and math to go.   And science.  And algebra.  And (7th grade) civics.

And then the district (still mandated by the state) "common course exams" for every class.  Even those already tested above.

Motherfargers.   :boom

I'll be holding my kids out on testing days.  Idiocy.
