I'm not surprised. Just announcing the plain fact that it is horseshtein.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Tomahawk

In two weeks, I get to go to Active Shooter Training. Since nobody has guns at work, I bet the training will be concise, stating only, "Call a friend with a gun and pray he gets here in time".

I think it's time for me to legitimize my business....get licensed, form an LLC, etc.

I had an interview for a huge step up in the organization today but didn't get the gig.  It came down to me and another guy who, frankly, should have been given a similar position a couple of years ago, but was passed over and he got this job.

I'm disappointed but not nearly as much as I ever expected I would be.  This is actually only the second time in my life I was up for a job or promotion and didn't get it.

The second-in-charge called me personally and broke the news.  She apologized for not giving me the job and told me not to be discouraged because I'd be at the front of the line for the next one.

Oh, well.  Too bad so sad for Romey.   :'(

At least it went to someone who you feel at least deserved it (other than yourself) versus some schmuck who brown nosed their way up. It sounds like a good work place where they higher up takes a moment to call you personally.

Tough break, hopefully your fortunes turn in the next opportunity.

If you're going for obvious, it's gotta be Ditch Bitch.

I'm with you Rome.  I thought for sure that I got the AGR position with the Air Force since I was the inside candidate.  It went to a lady in Nevada who already does the job.  I was able to make peace with it that she already had the experience but I can't hide the disappointment.  Oh well, keep working hard and things will open up.

we fired a guy about 3 months who was our in house IT support, safety manager, and document control manager because he did none of those jobs.  i inherited his responsibilities and have been rocking that shtein since.  i plan on asking for 25% of his salary as a raise because they eliminated a salary, the production in those areas picked up without replacing it.  seems fair to me.

for those that have been waiting for an update on this (no one)...

2 weeks ago I had the weirdest promotion ever.  I am told that because of my extra duties and additional responsibilities I am getting a $5k raise.  Then, I'm told that the owner of the company wants to put a tracking program on my computer to see what I do online.  To me, that is a mixed message.  The raise says that I am doing well and am being trusted with additional responsibilities...the computer thing says I don't trust you and I think you are wasting time.

Either way, I'm happy with the increase.  I obviously don't go online at work anymore, except for work activities, but with my extra workload I'm not sure I would have had time to screw around, tracker or no tracker.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

ice grillin you

5k is like a dollar an hour

so hes gonna insult you with a raise that doesnt come close to showing appreciation for the extra work you are doing....and on top of that hes calling you shady and taking away the internet for eight hours of your day

farg him

Don't take the raise...CF is way more more important. I'm serious.
