the other question is how do they find a jury for this? who doesnt know about this story and who doesnt know this guy is guilty?

i mean they found people for OJ but that was before twitter, facebook, the internet....and now the prosecution has tape of sandusky saying that he shouldnt have showered with those boys. and his defense attorney likes em young, too.

this shtein is too good for a movie.

its a myth that there are people found for high profile cases who havent heard of it...you arent looking for people who dont know the case exists you are looking for people who can be fair....i also think sanduskys chances are higher if the trial stays in happy valley than if they moved it

i had read about it last week but did anyone see the nbc story on sanduskys house being so close to that elementary school...his back deck is literally like 50 yards from the jungle gym and swing set

Find it amazing to read a 21 pg incredibly descriptive indictment of blatant sex abuse 8 times and have a lawyer sit up there and say he's completely innocent of all charges.

How do you read that and say, "Yep...I got this one Jerry...youre good"? Lawyers are classic.

i loved when costas asked him if he was sexually attracted to young boys and it took him like 30 seconds of roundabout talking to actually utter the word no....if someone asked you such a horrific question wouldnt you immediately say god no...furthermore in preparing for this interview there were two questions you 100% knew would be asked....one was did you do these things you are accused of and two do you like young boys....sandusky is so ick that even tho he and his lawyer obviously prepared for this interview he still couldnt really make a strong denial that he does love little boys

Both interviews were sickening. And if that rumor about the lawyer knocking up a 16 yr old is true, how the farg is he allowed to practice law?  In a child molestation case at that?

costas has dude on the phone line answering specific questions, lying through his teeth and squirming when asked the question if hes sexually attracted to young boys. any innocent person directly asked that question responds with an unequivocal "NO"--he actually had to think about it.

So you're answer is that you want to watch in order to hear an old pedophile squirm on the phone? You want to listen to a man who we all know is guilty (multiple eye-witness accounts pretty much rule out any chance that he's innocent) stammer and fumble his way through a desperate attempt at claiming he's innocent. The dude is living scum and you're stunned that I would ask why you want to watch?

Do you get out of your car and stare at the burning bodies when you pass a car accident as well? I just don't see the point or the pleasure derived from it. Voyeurism is for porn.

I can understand why Russell wants to try and avoid certain things about this story because he is clearly distraught over this and with good reason.  But for the casual fan or for a non PSU fan, this is a pretty gripping story.  I'm not interested in hearing his side of the story, but the fact that he was doing a national interview within a week of all this stuff coming out is just mind blowing.  Who does that?  What lawyer allows his client to say things that will be used as evidence against him in court?  The prosecution must have been popping champagne bottles during that interview last night.

that was a joke btw. and yeah i'm guessing the only lawyer that would even jeopardize his reputation is another with kiddie tendencies. from what i read he knocked her up at 16 but it wasn't illegal bc the age of consent in PA is 16? never heard that one before.
