Dexter let that ball go too which took a huge Atlanta bounce.   The next one he ran up like maniac to catch it and then fumbled it trying to make up for the previous punt.   Harbaugh has gotta get on him about that or else Reno is gonna be back there.   :paranoid

Mahe is absolute shtein did anybody else notice on kickoffs he missed every block.

Yes.

It was hard to miss. When your returner only averages 16 yards over 3 kicks, typically something is failing on a very basic level. That something was Mahe. Cut him.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

hunt

mahe is swoop's only backup so he'll never be cut.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

Cut Mahe.  Bring back Ritchie.  Actually run the ball occasionally.

ice grillin you

I still hate that rule. It should be the offenses ball at the 20. They get to keep the ball if it's fumbled out of bounds, why does the D get it when it's fumbled out of the endzone? It makes no sense.

its to discourage the offensive team from purposely fumbling the ball into the end zone to score a touchdown

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

That is a fantastic idea.

Juts think, we could cut both Mahe and Parry, bring back Ritchie and have a team that is capable of winning when Donovan decides to have a 90 minute brainfart like he did last night.

Reid shouldn't even bother carrying RBs other than Westbrook.

Use the roster spots on extra OL, extra TE and 2 FBs. Just line one of them up in the backfield with Westbrook or split Westy out wide and have 2 OLs in the b/f to blitz protect.

Dawkins broke TO's collarbone, with the signature tackle and punch combo on the left sideline.  :evil :evil

Yeah, but that's a crap shoot either way. There's no gaurantee that the offense would even get the ball since it can go anywhere once it hits the ground. But anyway, it's when the ball is fumbled out of the endzone. If the ball goes into the endzone and goes out of bounds with no established possession, kick the ball back 20 yards, count the down and let the offense retain possession (as long as a fumble out of bounds everywhere else results in retained possession for the offense).

Last year when Freddie fumbled on that one play against the Vikings and the ball hit the pylon possession went to the D even though they really had no effect on the play. Freddie just lost his grip trying to score. But because the ball touched the pylon, change of possession. I think they should have assessed the down and moved the ball back 20 yards.

If a team can move the ball down to the goalline to score, they shouldn't lose the ball because it goes in and out of the endzone if they don't lose it if it goes out of bounds at the 1 yard line. That way a team gets penalized for fumbling but they don't get penalized even after driving the field and getting in position to score.

Why don't you tell us when you get home since you apparently have nothing to add to the conversation.

RezRob

No fumble no problems. I beleive turnovers are supposed to reward the defense and punish the offense. There are plenty of stickler rules that annoy people, but that's the game. Your rule change would have allowed the Cowpukes to get the ball back after Beebe hustled on your Texas boy Leon Lett.   :puke
