Eh, it was hanging there before I bought the bike. Excersizing via bicycle sounded like a good idea when I bought it 3 years ago. I think I've ridden it 3x.

I love it. I despise running long distances, and my knees aren't huge fans of it either. Sure it's not quite the same work out, but it still burns calories. And you cover more distance, so you get to see more things.

I haven't ridden as much lately as I was in April/May/June, mostly because I've been going golfing more with my free time. But I still use it to bike about 2 miles round trip to WaWa when I want soem fruit or gatorade or something like that.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I don't know where you're staying, but take the train into wrigleyville. It's a pretty dope sight to be dropped off at the ball park's steps and seeing the droves of people with their cubs gear on (not that I give a shtein about the cubs) but as a baseball experience, one of a kind.

phattymatty

last time i went to wrigley i snagged front row seats from some dude out front. he asked for $100 my counteroffer was $25 and he gave in. when i got there the people sitting next to me were all like how much did you pay for them? i said 25 and they were pretty mad at me. apparently he's some homeless guy they were trying to help out so they gave him the tickets to sell. oops.

and yeah it's a fun place, feels like a minor league stadium.

hbionic

Haha, that's dope about the tickets. I can't stop laughing right now. Those people were trying to do a good deed, and desperate dude gave in for $25 not knowing he could have held out for more.  :-D

That's too good.  :-D

Because they're leaving by the 4th.

Rome

There's literally 90 gazillion things to do in L.A. during the summer.  The fact that the Dodgers get anyone to show up is a testament to their ability to consistently field contenders.

That said...

farg L.A.

ice grillin you

everyday is summer in LA.....and theres like 15 million people in the metro area....its a disgrace

This is the most tired argument for a few warm weather "glam cites" like LA, SD, or Miami. What can you do in LA that you can't do in Philly, NYC, Boston or Chicago?  Nothing. It's not like LA or any other city offers some great dynamic that other cities don't have.  The weather is nice(r). Because we all know that baseball isn't enjoyable unless its 95 with 70% humidity.

next time you are in the city you should try gooey louies in south phil....the amount of meat on their steaks is insanity

Finally hit it up yesterday on my way back from AC. Holy shtein, you weren't lying about the amount of meat.  Only complaint is that they don't have mushrooms, but the steak was really farging good on its own. Gonna be my new go-to spot when I'm in the city.

I was wondering how the hell I never heard of them before, but I found out while I was down there that they've only been around for about 25 years or so (as a sammich/steak shop) so they were basically still upstart when I was in HS and I guess by the time they gained city rep, I was in the Corps and living on the left coast.

Good looking out on this though. Their steaks are farging legit.
