Why don't you go to whichever resort Phreak doesn't and you can both report back in a death fight to the balls.

I have 21,000+ Starwood points. Anyone else a Starwood member? Any suggestions on how I should use these puppies?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I've always had a great time at any Westin hotels or resorts.  Last place i stayed at was Westin Moana Surfrider, pretty cool place since it was built in 1909.

Hey if you and your pals are serious about cutting spending, start at the Pentagon.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

So I'm in Lima right now and this is the room SUITE that Dio's tax dollars are putting me up in for 8 farging days.

And just to prove that I didn't copy some random hotel pics, here's a "Phreak" pic w/an Eagles jersey:

Yeah, como sey dice ahora, gringo?!?!!?!?!?!  Pisco Sour para todo el mundo!

PS....I farging love you!

My Mom won an all expense paid trip from WOGL Oldies 98 to somewhere in the Caribbean. She signed up for that vacation-a-day-giveaway like a year and a half ago. Today they called her name and she wasn't listening and was up my aunt's house. Another aunt finally tracked her down (cell battery dead) and she had 8 minutes left to call in.

She said when she got home she had 11 voicemails.

From people she'd never met and as far away as Trenton. That was weird.

Anyone ever stayed at Bill's Gamblin' Hall in Vegas?

Just came back from a small 'Pueblo' in Central Mexico. Place was founded about 500 years ago.

I saw nothing but green hills everywhere. Place was colonial with a main church and plaza in the middle of the town. The outskirts are surrounded by 'ranchos' and within the hills...some rinky-dink brick homes...and some extravagant mansions (owned by the local narcos of course).  The traditions were alive and kicking...that town has a festival for everything. Also, unbenknowst to me, in the main plaza....the men stand around the plaza and the single women walk around the plaza...and if a guy sees a girl he likes...he throws confetti on her (I guess men walk around with confetti)...but I thought this was a cool thing...well... a lot cooler than the recent method of picking up on a woman in Mexico, "if you see one you like, put a gun to her head and kidnap her"

It was interesting to know that there were ancient acqueduct systems used here...similar to the ones by the romans. Also, the farging police carry batons....and UZI's. I felt safe and scared at the same time. Architecture is brick/rock/cement based...not wood framed based like here in the states.
It was like going back in time...and oh yeah...7 tacos and an horchata....40 pesos.....about $3 bucks. Drinks were cheap as farg. I hadn't drank that much tequila ever. It's quite easy to see now why and how easy these cartels have so much power throughout Mexico...there are 1000's of these towns scattered throughout the country...and thank god...they have not been commercialized (yet)...there are modern amenities like banks, food, and a cell phone tower...but other than that...no starbucks or mcdonalds.

But now, back to the rat race.  :'(

starwood merged with total rewards this week, which is all of the harrahs family. i imagine 21,000 points would equal many casino comps.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

What kind of room offers did you get from Harrah's for August? I know it's the vacation season but with the casino's opening up in DE and PA, I was surprised that my room offers for Harrah's weren't free this month. I figured with the increased competition, they'd have to ramp up the offers a little bit.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Was out in Estes Park, CO stayed at Lake Shore Lodge.  The management at the lodge were some of the biggest arseholes on the planet.  That being said I was there for a wedding and it may have been the most fun I ever had.

Bunch of my buddies that I grew up with were there.  We went and did a roady through the Rocky Mountain National Park.  Drank our asses off and smoked some of the fine CO dope.  If you have never been to the rocky mountains and like the outdoors you really are missing out....pictures do it no justice.

Saw countless elk with monster racks and saw two giant moose.  Overall just an amazing experience.

RMNP is really cool.  I've been trying to get paco to try it for years.

I've been to Estes Park recently as well.  Gorgeous place.
