Agreed. I have recently been playing COD4. Modern weapons wins anyday in my book. I'm still waiting for a Vietnam based COD or war game period

I enjoy World at War a lot, especially nazi zombie mode.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

So, how's NCAA Football this year? I'm holding out for the usual dose of Madden, since I'm not a huge college football guy...but I'm curious about how it stacks up to previous iterations.

SunMo

nothing ground breaking...very solid once again, except Erin Andrews gives you sideline updates this year.

one cool thing is that you can alter your "gameplan" meaning you can choose to be aggressive, normal, and moderate on a variety of categories, such as ripping the ball out (aggressive benefits:  more fumbles, detriments:  more fasemasks and broken tackles) so that's a pretty cool thing.

That's what I saw in the demo...it seemed okay, but not anything really special. I'm hopeful for Madden this year; last year's had some problems, but it was as close as they'd come on the 360 to getting it "right". I know they spent a lot of time on the Franchise Mode this year, so I'm hoping that makes a difference. I used to spend hours in Franchise mode on the PS2, but hardly at all in the 360 to this point, and I'm hoping that can change this year.

SunMo

online play as all but killed Dynasty/Franchise mode for me.  it's much more enjoyable to play a real person online than play the computer over and over

I do like the real person angle...but sometimes I don't have the time to invest in a full game, or I might have to pause it to do something for the fam, whatever. So, I do like the franchise mode to be fun to fill in those gaps. I guess I just need to be awash in more free time ;-).

Anyone here playing Fight Night Round 4? I think it's great, but I'm just getting my ass handed to me online.

Diomedes

I love that series, but haven't played it on a current system.  Still rocking the PS2.  Great franchise.

FN4 is much, much better than 3, and I thought 3 was really good. The graphics have really come a long way, and they streamlined the controls. For some reason, it doesn't bother my hands like FN3 did after playing awhile.

Got UFC undisputed. Not really into fighting or sports games, I'm more into shooters and rpgs, but this has gotten good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try.
