The lack of mentioning of Gears Of War 1 and 2 in the last few posts makes me cry on the inside.

they were the first games I mentioned a few posts back

I use the Lancer and the Sniper rifle. Don't like the torque bow or the flame thrower. The mortor is crap.

Love the Torque Bow, outside of the gnasher shotty it's what I've got the most kills with.

I used the sniper a lot in Gears 1, but it's much more difficult (at least I've found it to be so far) to get a head shot with the sniper in Gears 2...I still use it when I find it, but it's not a must get for me like it was in Gears 1 on maps like Gridlock.

I enjoy the mortor, but I think some of the kills it gets are pretty cheap.

Saints Row isnt bad if you want to buy a 10 dollar game that involves being Gangsta.  I dont know how good the new one is that came out, but i'll wait until it gets down to 20 bucks to buy it

I have the first Gears of War and just couldn't seem to get into it...and I don't know why.  Seems like I should like it.  I didn't hate it, but I got bored with it pretty quickly.  Haven't tried the second one.

i just sent Left 4 Dead back, wasn't impressed with the setup...the gameplay was good, but i like a good campaign

getting Afro Samurai sent next, that looks badass

While the first one's story was pretty interesting, I highly enjoyed the second one's story and co-op a lot more. Took a lot longer to beat too, if I remember correctly.

Gamestop and EB both have it new for $20 as well.  I got Bioshock used and The Orange Box for less than $40.

The Orange Box was not a big hit with me, although it got great reviews.

I just downloaded SKATE 2 demo and Resident Evil 5. Skate looks better than last one...cool additions are you can get off your board and walk and also there are move-able objects, so you can set-up some cool stuff. Demo kinda sucks, its timed so you can't just dick around for as long as you like.

Resident Evil 5 demo is just bad. The whole aiming system is just really slow and tough. Your character is sluggish, the controls are HORRIBLE. To reload or to swing your knife you have to combine buttons. To switch weapons you have to hit 3-4 buttons before even getting your weapon out. For a game that took that long to come out and have that much praise, to me its a big disappointment. Don't know if the other RE's were like this or what. Otherwise the game has so much potential, amazing graphics, zombies from africa...

i have to agree. I played the demo for about 15 minutes and then deleted it.  Im not sure how it turned out so awful so far.   RE4 was amazing, so I had high hopes for this one.
