Margot was excellent.  All the characters are despicable including the "good guys" and that's what makes it interesting to me.   The bad guys beat the worse guys (or chick in this case).

Good stuff.

Margot is the one aspect of the movie that I think gets universal praise.  It can't be overstated how excellent she was.  She should win an oscar, a grammy, an emmy, an espy, and a got damn pulitzer for that shtein.  Farg it, give her an avn too because fap fap fap.

her outfit was lil too conservative for my taste.  :paranoid

i don't doubt its good but i feel like ive seen that movie about 12 times before....cant imagine it brings anything new to the table...nothing terribly wrong with that I just wouldn't see the need to see it in the theater

Trailer reminds me a bit of The Town as a modern western.   I'm basically dying to see a good movie at this point in the summer.  The only movie I was enthusiastic about the last 4 months or so was Conjuring 2

i gave up on hoping for any classic movies coming out a long time ago....this decade has been a joke...theres movies I would say were "great" but I cant remember the last timeless movie I saw...the kind of movie I can watch over and over again and think its as good or better than the first time I saw it...yeah I love my horrors and there are movies that I think are great....spotlight social network birdman are a few that come to mind....but none that I would put in even my top 50 of all time....im probably missing one or two that might come close but the last one I can think of that is a definite is no country for old men?

Inside Out, if you're into Pixar.

Their top movie IMO, even better than Toy Story.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Whiplash was my favorite movie of the last 3-5 years.   I know we don't exactly agree about that one but that's the only time recently  I felt an emotional adrenaline rush coming out of a movie and thought about it for the next 48 hours.

After I saw Dark Knight I felt like that a bit too although that's obviously a wildly different type of movie.

dark knight...im assuming thats the one with heath ledger?

its virtually impossible for me to put a superhero or comic book movie up that high but that movie is farging amazing and could be in my top 50...i love it so much....did that come out after no country?

Yea no country was 07, dark knight was 08

even if it doesnt make my top 50 it still definitely would qualify as the last truly classic movie
