Why are you a Sox fan? Did they visit England?

Like Newcastle United, they wear black and white stripes! Well, that was the original reason. It's also great they play the Cubs in interleague play now. I hate them. They are even bigger losers than the Sox, yet they seem to be seen as, by the Chicago media and their own fans, as Chicago's real team. I laughed so hard over the Steve Bartman thing.  :-D BTW, I think slugging percentage is something to do with how many bases you get per at bat - or something.  ??? The only teams who visted England to my knowledge are the Red Sox and Yankees. I cannot support the Yankees as I refuse to be a bandwagon jumper and the only other friend of mine in England who likes baseball supports the Red Sox. Would be cool if ChiSox came to London tho'. I feel the need to beat up some umpires. :evil

Can't argue with the numbers. 1.33 ERA 3-0.  :yay Shame he's not younger. :'( Could see him becoming the closer at some stage. BTW, Did you see your guys play our guys off the park at soccer the other day? ;)

Actually i didn't see the game, but i know what happened. Inamoto broke his ankle while Ono did a good job. Inamto had a chance to go to Athens, but Ono is likely to be replaced. I also heard Becham would come here and play with one of our clubs.

Ono scored. Haven't heard any Beckham to Japan rumours to be honest. He says he's staying at Real Madrid, but there have been rumours of him going to Chelsea.

Sounds good to me. I dont know if he can do well when all the bases are loaded though.

He became a closer when he was 25. He made 200+ saves.

Then, hell, bring him in. Ozzie Guillen seems reluctant though. :boom If Billy Koch was doing any good, he'd have a point, but he sucks. :win
