It's a little fair.  Take a look at your total points for the season.
The first 5 weeks of the season, I was in first place in points. I had one game where 2 or 3 players got zero points and it killed me.

That's not exactly fair, Zanshin.

in my other league, I am lucky...that's an autodraft (although I won with my chosen defensive players this week...MURP ;) )

no you didnt.  simply subtract the number of points your defensive players got from your total points and you see that you would have still won.  Maybe you will figure it out someday.   :bash

Still, look at the flip side.  I have the most points in the league, and I still languish in 4th place.  Luck of the draw is certainly a huge factor.

Whoops, forgot about Priest Holmes...I was going by my points before last night.  :-[

yes i agree.  Luck is important in any head to head fantasy league.  Who you play each week is almost as important as who is on your team.

Tomahawk

Take it from a former CF FFL Champion, luck plays a huge role.

Absolutely.  The way the schedule shakes out can be the difference between undefeated and a losing record, easily-- and that's regardless of the talent on your team; especially in larger leagues where the talent is spread pretty thin across the board.

I never said luck wasn't part of it...but Zanshin made it seem like luck was the only reason I was 6-1...which isn't exactly fair.

lol...I never said that.  But luck is a big part of it.  If you don't like the way that sounds, how about that bad luck has me with the most points and yet still having a 4-3 record.  Does that work better for you?

PhillyGirl

not crying.

I'm in first place.

You sure you aren't a Cowboys fan?  They sounded sort of like that during the golden years.  Very endearing.  :-D

Anyone else imagining Pooh and Piglet in quicksand or acid,  crying out before their little lives are extinguished?

I feel so bad for your kids.

I said what I said facetiously, PC...take a farging pill.

I meant as in, I feel bad for your kids that you make comments about Pooh and Piglet like that. Joke, haha...smack thread.

didn't mean it as a personal attack, but if you want to take it that way. Go ahead.
