Here's the info. ;D
QuoteFree Agents << Previous | Next >>

All unowned players who have cleared waivers are free agents and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can pick up or drop players by simply clicking on the Pick Up Player or Drop Player links located near the top of your Team Page. All claimed players will immediately be added to your bench. It is up to you to move them to starting positions.
You can drop players without replacing them, but you can only pick up players without dropping anyone if you have less than the maximum number of players on your roster. You will never be allowed to exceed your league's roster limit.

If you drop a player from your roster, he will immediately be placed on waivers. You will then not be allowed to reclaim the player until after the waiver period expires.

Before the start of the season, all undrafted players will be placed on waivers, with those left unclaimed then being treated as free agents. You can find out the length of the waiver period for your league by clicking on the League Settings link on your league home page.

Waivers << Previous | Next >>

All players dropped from a team's roster are immediately placed on waivers. During this waiver period -- two days in Public Leagues and anywhere from zero to seven days in Custom Leagues -- anyone in the league can claim the player.
So, if a player in a Public League is dropped on a Wednesday afternoon, all coaches can claim him until Friday at 11:59 pm PT. The player will then be assigned to their new team roughly 4-8 hours after the claim deadline.

To find the length of the waiver period in your league, check the League Settings page, which can be found via a link on your League Overview page.

If more than one coach claims the same player, the team that is highest on the Waiver Priority List is given the rights to the player. The priority list is initially set based on the reverse of the draft order. However, each time you add a waived player to your roster, you are pushed to the back of the list, so the team with the lowest waiver priority will always be the team that completed the last successful waiver claim. This "rolling" list stays in effect for the entire season.

To find your current position in the waiver priority list, go to the Coaches List via your League Overview page.

If nobody claims a player during the waiver period, he becomes a free agent. In a Custom League with no waiver period, all dropped players automatically become free agents.

If you place a player on waivers, you cannot reclaim that player until after the waiver period has expired. If, however, you decide that you do not wish to waive the player, you can cancel the transaction -- provided it has not yet been processed -- by viewing it from your team page and clicking on the Cancel button.

If you place a claim on more than one waived player at a time, each pending transaction will appear on your Team Page along with its current position in your waiver order. All new claims get appended to the end of the list, but you can alter this priority by viewing each pending claim and changing its priority in the box provided.

Might be interesting to add up the time between draft choices, to compile a "total time on the clock" for each team. Then we can see who really held up the draft.  :paranoid

;D  good idea, get Satoshi on that one.

I've noticed that there are some players that werent' drafted who warrent keeping close tabs on during the season. If you are interested in one, I guess it just depends on who claims what player first. Will there be a thread for roster moves and what not?

Going by last year, there was a thread for trash talking, and just CFFFL talk overall, but there wasn't actually a thread for making official roster moves, not like these official draft pick threads.  Once the teams & players are inserted over on yahoo.com, then all the moves are made through the yahoo website.

Don't know if that is what you are asking, but there you go.

Hold up timeout, stop the presses.  PSN are you telling me you went 15 rounds and drafted ONE RB?   :-D :-D  Don't give me this " I had to juggle 2 drafts and got mixed up" stuff either.  That's just sad.  You took my QB and it came back to haunt you I see ;)

Maybe there's still a 3rd string RB out there for you. :-D  I can't believe you drafted a defense in the 4th round a TE in the 5th, 2 QBs in the first 3 rounds.  I thought my draft last season was one for the record books (it was :-[) but this takes the mofoin cake. :o

Yup, I farged up and got my rosters confused....oddly enough I have Bledsoe on both of them.  No biggie though, I know I can work a trade with someone.  Laugh it up all  you want, but the season hasn't even begun yet.

Chuck...you're in deep poop.

Couch won't be the starter and Vick is out 6-8 weeks with a broken ankle.

:o

Chuck is not in deep poop.  Fortunately I have a stable of healthy quarterbacks, but alas, cannot use them all.  Chuck, we need to talk.

Jimmy Smith?  That would be Tomahawk.

The taterskins may be looking mediocre to bad, but L.Coles has 3 catches for over 100 yards in the 2 games. ;D

16 teams.  The owner with no injuries and no drug losers has a good chance.

So basically you don't want a guy named Vick, Smith, or any player with a blue star on their helmet on your team?

dang MURP, I just looked at your team.  How in the bleep did you pull that much RB depth out of your azz?  You bastich! ;)

By drafting two QBs that end with "ington", four unproven recievers, a psycho and a San Diego reject  who can't spell Michael correctly at tight end, a mid range kicker, and two porous defenses, one with a Brian Bosworth wannabe in the middle.

But I do like the RB stable, although goaline carries might suffer for TJ and Adrian considering Vicks boo boo and Corn Puffs sucking.

Besides that, great team!  ;)

Vick's injury isn't doing the Melvinators much good either, being as I picked Price and Finneran for recievers. :-[
