Hurts is definitely an issue but Moore continues to blow as a play caller. He doesn't create routes that cause separation and he relies too much on Brown/Smith winning one on ones. Still have no idea why they aren't utilizing the short passing game. There's nothing wrong with dink and dunk to move the chains. Barkley and the o line makes Moore look good. I hope he gets a head coaching job next season.

i was there today and im just catching up on the online outrage about hurts...like he was as awful as he generally is and today is the day everyone sees it?!?

moore is fine. theres nothing innovative or interesting about what they do, but theyre so hindered by hurts its silly to discuss. hes got like 3 throws he can make. they do not trust him, at all. my buddy comped them to michigan last year, which is fair.

Because it was against the panthers and running into lane Johnson when there was a huge hole to his left, the farging slide to lose 17 yards and a bunch of other shtein I'm too old to remember.

Regarding the panthers they're not a half bad team. Don't get me wrong they're not good but last 4 games they beat the saints and giants and only lost by a fg to the Bucs and chiefs and they could have easily won those games.

Moore is horrible. I have no idea why they don't use Barkley in the passing game. Hurts never has a check down guy. Jay alluded to this earlier and it goes back to my comment watching brown and smith talking on the bench...they're frustrated and brown already started with the passive comments. If he wasn't friends or didn't respect hurts he would have blown up by now

Hurts still has some flashes of competence, but it really isn't enough. When he's on, his best effort results in AJ pulling off a herculean effort to gain yards or Hurts just running for a first down. They built what should be an unstoppable juggernaut of an offense around Hurts, and the best they can get is 200 yards a game. He's almost got more rushing yards than their second receiver has receiving yards this year. He's not the guy.

Also, they have to draft a Goedert replacement next year, right? He hasn't played a full season in years now.

i have a few get rid of hurts scenarios....give me some odds here

1. the jags get a top 3 pick and want ward/sanders over lawrence. eagles trade hurts to a team needing a qb too far away to get ward/sanders, package that pick with their own and whatever else to get trevor.

2. the eagles love ward/sanders but most teams dont. they trade hurts to a team needing a qb who dont want or cant get the rookies, use that and their own pick to move up high enough to get ward/sanders. somewhat similar to the wentz movement.

3. joe burrow decides he hates cincinnati and demands a trade and we get a ridiculous qb swap type of deal, along with whatever else they want.

4. trump ruins the country and there is no nfl season or even anymore oxygen and the sweet release of death arrives

Pretending that the salary cap is still real for teams besides the Saints, they probably can't afford to move Hurts and replace him.

theyd have to eat a bunch of money but it would only kill them for 2 years and youd presumably be paying the actual qb less than a market rate. anyway, i dont care, i need him gone
