Too cowardly to go for the sneak. Shameful.

The man. The myth. The legend.

God damn! Whew!

Sloppy as shtein. Like most teams they played like they haven't done shtein since last season

Don Ho

Really not much to say.  This reminded me of the second half of the lions game. So out of sync, obviously starters not playing much if all in preseason reared it's ugly head.

I'm scared to look at the stats.

1. the 1H strategy of being afraid of the rain was...interesting. they basically didnt want to do anything, sat on the ball, lost the field and turned a huge lead into a ball game. brilliant.

2. once they got into their stuff in 2H, they moved the ball well. little things stalled out drives, but they were moving it. elliott saved them, big time.

3. hurts was kind of close to a trainwreck? his passes were crisp, he was moving well. but the fumble, yikes. he missed goedert multiple times. just wasnt seeing the field well at all. maybe credit to BB, maybe a lack of live action, whatever. hopefully this gets better!

4. kenny gainwell? yikes. no juice. swift was barely present. not a lot of room to run but nothing going on with these guys. lets try penny or something.

5. the defense was really good expect for that god awful drive to cut it to 5. won them the game. farg johnathan gannon with a pound of naan, all praise mighty sports indian sean desai.

6. i like being aggressive. i hate punting. special teams was all over the place, some good moments, some bad moments. but jesus. you punt the ball there. make them eat the yards on the other side of it. and if youre gonna for it, try something more creative than a slant in traffic.

overall, week 1 is pass/fail to me. they passed, they won. good. great. bring on cuzzo.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

One thing about facing Belichick with so much time to prepare is he was able to really disguise a lot of coverages and it confused Jalen. Plus he wasn't crisp at all.

But then again in watching all of the games today just about every team was a slopfest. The drawback from not having real training camps and sitting everyone in pre season.

Nakobe is in a walking boot - not good

Suit Penny up Thursday please

Gonzalez got away with PI on Slim on that 4th and 2 pass

Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis looked good

Fletch was going in for X-ray and I hope Bradberry is ok

QB Eagles

Hurts was locking in on single receivers and staring them down like 2021. I think it's more likely cobwebs than him regressing, but this was a bad game by him.

NE did a lot of interesting things on both sides of the ball to attempt to neutralize the Eagles' strengths, with varying success. I wonder how much of it will/can be picked up by other teams.

I thought Gainwell was fine but the RB usage was odd overall. I think Brian Johnson is still getting his sea legs as a playcaller too.

Something came up and I missed the end of the 4th quarter. Looks like I didn't miss much, but a ugly win is still a win.  :-\
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.
