I'm all for a trade up for one of the top WRs but this is a deep wr draft so if a player falls I hope they use their 2nd on a safety. Instead of reaching for JJAW they should have used that pick on a safety. There were still some decent ones available

i think the only reason they had ten last year was because mcleod was coming off that bad injury the previous season...jonathan cyprien was traded in week 2? once they were comfortable with mcleods comeback

They dumped Ford pretty quick too, if I recall, much to Baltimore's benefit.

Avonte is a man over the middle, but if he's CB2 with Slay locking down the other side, I think that's a problem.

Rudy Ford got hurt and plays DB/STs - LJ Fort is the LB they cut and signed with BAL

They do appear to have a surplus of slot guys.  Three Last Name is not an outside corner, from what I've read.  So if he's going to be the nickel corner, who of the others will be outside?  Maddox is a straight up better player at any position than the others, so I assume it's him.  If not, I guess Jones?  Ugh.

Oh, you're right.  I can be excused for the mistake.  I'm right all the rest of the time.

Even with the talk of Mills shifting to safety I wouldn't be surprised if he emerges as CB2. With him and Robey-Coleman out there, other teams will be moving down the field flag by flag.

Going over the middle has become more popular in the NFL and having Maddox/RC rotating depending on matchup or both out there at once is nice to have.

Ideally Jones would finally learn how to play outside corner at an NFL level or Leblanc matures into that guy, but I have zero faith in that happening. Same goes for a rookie starting, because who knows if there even is a decent period to teach and evaluate the guy before the season starts. Likely we go into the season with CB2 once again a relative hole in the Eagles D, like LB.

i agree...you never take a guy out of his ideal position especially when you are as good in the slot as avonte...what usually happens is you end up weakening two positions

Probably in the minority but I haven't given up on Jones. He played through some injuries but he still has a ton of talent.

i havent either...i expect their to be legit camp battles at every secondary spot but CB1

So, with yesterday's addition of Three Last Names,

:-D :-D That is good Dio.  Needed a good laugh. The big naked black guy popping up on my texts every 5 minutes is getting old, although the one with Bob Ross was damn funny.

can't see any scenario where they have ten...not only do they not have enough talent to justify 10 you want your depth along the lines

also we know how much Jim Johnson loves running DL in and out all game

also very high possibility their 2nd round pick is the rookie

Correct on all three points, other than JJ is dead.  I can see them going DB in round 2 and there will be some good ones available.

Man I hope Jones can do it.  I have bee pulling for him from day one.  The injuries, struggling on the field, buried on the depth chart, been frustrating.  Big camp for IV!

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
