I already know how this ends.

The Phils will *somehow* get a 2-game lead going into the last series against the Marlins...

... have the lead in all three games...

... and blow saves (perhaps multiple times) in all three games to get swept...

... the last game on a season-ending homer by Jazz Chisholm off of Ian "Gopher Ball" Kennedy...

... While the Braves sweep their series to win the division.

EDIT:  Yeah, I forgot to check October.  Blah.

This all sounds like too interesting a way to lose to be Phillies baseball. I think they just play mediocre ball against whatever opponents they face and never get within a half game.

Welp they're one game out.

Let's see how this plays out.

PHL vs BAL/PIT/ATL/MIA
ATL vs ARZ/SD/PHL/NYM

More than likely they experience crushing losses to BAL and PIT, yes. But that ATL series is where I expect it to fall off the rails.
