Defense is dominant. Offense only puts up 17. Two Ryan Matthews rushing TDs. Defense takes a late sack-fumble to the house to ice it.

This proves to be the high point of the season.

most week 1 nfl games are extremely hard to predict....this game is literally impossible....you have one qb who didnt play last year and for all intents and purposes you can argue is playing his "first" nfl game as hes starting from scratch and you have a 1-aa rookie facing nfl starters for the first time

the browns offense is a dumpster fire and has less weapons than the eagles if thats even possible....i do really like corey coleman a lot but hes a rookie so i dont know how much damage he does sunday...likewise their defense is also pretty terrible

all in all you couldnt find a better team for your rookie qb to start his career against....the problem for the eagles is that wentz isnt a normal qb....hes a 1-aa qb with 23 career starts who hasnt played in a month and has sore ribs

im torn bwtn the eagles being the better team at home and carson wentz being an abomination sunday who is wildly inaaccurate and throws four picks...i think ultimately this game is won or lost by pederson and how well he draws up and calls the game plan...and its not just about running the ball 45 times the browns are expecting that...how much mis direction can he properly mix in....bunch of waggles...jet sweeps...reverses etc...

short of a defensive or specials team score or a bunch of turnovers which gives field position I think 16 pts wins this game...i just have no idea who gets closer to that number

I guess until I see wentz and pederson prove themselves in the league ill go with the experience of rg3 and hugh jackson

I'm thinking 17-9 Browns. Probably a total blowout if they can't get some pressure on Griffin. I'm not expecting much from an offense with one receiver who might be good if he wants to give a shtein and a rookie QB.

Bobby G is complete trash and the main threat on their offense is some old white guy named Gary Barnidge. They don't even care about the game because their draft position is helped either way.

Still, 24-13 Browns. The Eagles are going to be truly terrible.
