they wouldn't trade for murray it would be dunn....and I don't see any way saric starts...I would also kinda be surprised if jo jo starts...hes going to be on a minutes limit for much of if not all season if he even makes it to the season

If they could somehow get to that starting 5 by the end of the season, that would be some highly watchable basketball.

Other than landing a big name, they can basically do whatever they want during free agency, too. Maybe they can find someone who can even shoot.

yep, I know it wont start out that way but that's what we'd have to look forward to and im not complaining. if if they do trade for dunn instead of murray. im ok with that.

also hard to see any lineup with jo jo nn and saric starting...at least not until saric improves his handle and outside shot

ultimately what you want is a team that has a bunch of shooters around simmons with a big in the middle jo jo or nn

I'd love to see Bembry taken at 24 but he's going to go top 20.

Any predictions for tonight? Rumors are all over the place. Ainge knows how to play the misdirection game.

my gut says they move 24 and 26 in some kind of deal(s) but not one that gets them 3 or 4

i really really really would like them to somehow end up with malik beasley if they don't trade up into the top of the draft

pompey is reporting that dunn is "begging" to play for the sixers....might be the first player in history to want to play for the sixers over the celtics

Dunn said "my Fathers from there so I'd love to play for them". I'd still do Okafor for Dunn in a heartbeat.

no way I am trading okafor straight up for three or four hes worth more than that...there is a titantic drop off in this draft after ingram...in almost any other year theres no farging way kris dunn is a 3rd overall pick...even this year hes just in that big mix of eh guys from 3-12

next years draft is going to be one of the better in recent memory...theres no need to push anything right now...this is the problem with hinkie magic being replaced by bryco...the idea that they are forcing moves strictly in the name of fast forwarding the process...they don't HAVE to have a pg this year and honestly with simmons you can make the argument they will never need one...forget the fact that dunn isn't anything special as a prospect hes a terrible fit for the sixers...if you want to do okafor for dunn there better be some other good shtein coming back

My prediction: Noel and 24 or 26 gets moved for a pick in the top 8

My gut tells me they're getting low ball offers for Okafor, so they'd rather keep him, let him log minutes, and work Embiid in slowly. If Embiid doesn't work out, they have their back up plan.

im dunn with bryco if they do that and firmly in j's camp of this thing will not end well

trading nn for a top 8 pick by itself is insane...the idea of also throwing a number 1 pick in is nauseating

if you are going to do this then just trade okafor for dunn straight up
