Ending the season in Turkey, by the way it looks Dario Saric has finished his first part of career. After 2 years in Efes Saric will continue his career in NBA in Sixers. He said he can't confirm yet because he is talking with Efes about buyout, but 99% he will go to Sixers. Dario wanted to go to Philly last year but his coach Duda Ivankovic didn't even want to hear about it. Now it's not the club thing anymore beacuse the buyout price is from 700 thousand to 900 thousand so Dario will most probably land in Philly. His status in Philly has not changed and Brian Colangelo said that they want and expect Saric right now. Its the fourth time someone will buyout Dario Saric trough his career. After Zagreb, Cibona and Efes, Sixers will pay for him 2,5 mil €.

I haven't been following draft talk much lately, so unless Colangelo has flat out stated that Simmons is their guy, then the question seems like it was trying to bait Colangelo and he didn't fall for it.

Only if you are 100% committed to making that pick.  But if you're at least legitimately willing (or maybe even trying) to make a trade, then the less info you put out there, the better.  Why show your hand if you're still trying to raise the pot?   

Besides, my whole take on it is based on the Sixers having not publicly stated that Simmons is their guy in recent weeks (which admittedly, I haven't followed close enough to know).  So if it's still not public knowledge, and when you look at the way the question was worded:

Colangelo was asked if Ingram could jump ahead of Simmons.

If Colangelo answers yes, that means that Simmons is currently their guy but they aren't necessarily sold on him.  If he answers no, then he's committing to Simmons. 

It reads like a trap question to me and I don't have a problem with him giving a bs answer.
