I'd do Okafor for #3 in a heartbeat. Hell I'd throw in one of the late firsts to get the deal done. Take Dunn or Murray (most likely Dunn). Now you have:

Dunn
someone at the 2
Simmons
Saric/NN
Embiid

The Celtics have a deep young backcourt, Okafor is better than any big man in this draft, so the trade makes sense for both teams.

whether you were on board with the process or not, you have to be excited at the possibilities the future holds for this organization.

I'm more excited about cleaning the lint filter on my dryer than the Magic, but yeah, the Sixers did this right.  If they can manage to hit on Simmons or Ingraham AND Jor-El comes back, AND they dump Okie AND Saric joins them AND they con a franchise FA into joining them in 2017, they'll be something to watch.

rome you sound a tad skeptical. I pretty much see the sixers being in the same boat as this year's Phillies. tons of questions, but also tons of upside.

33 years of mostly inept management will make a brotha cynical.   I'm from the area and I genuinely wish the Sixers success but one stroke of good fortune won't make up for decades of poor decisions.  It might have if LeBron was available as an 18 yr old but not with Simmons or the Duke kid.
