Simmons mostly wants LA because of a shoe deal. Supposedly the Lakers want him bad. Would you do something like Russell/Ingram for Simmons/24/26?

this LA - shoe deal is straight up garbage that someone wrote up because they needed words on lottery day.

of all farging things to make an issue out of, this kid turned down duke and kentucky etc. to play with fam in farging louisiana so i can't imagine he all of a sudden this week turned into some kind of publicity hound. also brett has know him since he was a little kid.

I like both simmons and ingram. I'd be fine with that deal SD brought up, but any chance the lakers would do that ?

nba cities are Teflon when it comes to shoe deals...doesn't matter if you are Durant in gods country or kyrie in hell hole Cleveland....superstars transcend markets in the league

la is no doubt an overall better brand than philly but mostly its a personal thing...hes  been a laker fan his whole life and hes from a warm island so more than anything else im sure he wants the beach sun ocean over the Schuylkill banks boardwalk and the race street pier

i know you've never seen him play but he actually could be...he has some major flaws...but his game fits in perfectly with the new nba...his court vision and playmaking ability is magicesque...on the other hand he cant shoot a lick and is a terrible defender...but those are two things you can definitely improve on...problem is youd like your number one overall pick to not have multiple glaring weaknesses...but as far as changing a game...hes THE guy in this draft

Brown said so himself they were trying to make/slow down the offense last season to tailor towards Okafor's talents. The fact that they've already been shopping him is all I need to know. Even if Embiid is a no go, they have to move Jah. Throw NN at center, Saric PF, Simmons at the 3, and trade Jah for some back court help.
