Don Ho

Choke is one big heaping pile of shtein.  I don't feel sorry, it's not painful to
watch, it's the norm and it's just shtein.  All there is to
it.  He's dog shtein.

It's time for Choke to sit.

On the beach. Or a rocking chair. Hang 'em up, Big Piece.

Nothing more negadelphian than Havas counting down the L's for the local nine

great move by pete benching doobie. he set the bar on hustle/effort early on for these young guys.

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

they give away outs on the bases and at bats literally every night and no one gets benched....players also don't give 100% on grounders every single time (no team does)

this is also odubels second time or third time being called out by mack....this goes back to last year...so clearly he didn't set any bar

nothing whatsoever was accomplished last night unless you are an old dood who thinks everyone ran out every ball in the 1950's but don't now

I would almost guarantee odubel doesn't give 100% on a ground ball sometime in the next month...maybe even sooner...and 100% someone wont go all out tonight

farging A right good job.  If the players dog it sit their asses.

so if you managed the tigers, you would bench miguel cabrera after he jogged to 1st on a weak grounder.

ok.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

uh oh, here comes timmy kurkjian to drop sum baseball knowledge.

I would expect effort from every player on the team.  It's called being a professional and that's something your generation can't grasp.  You're lazy, spoiled and self-indulgent Hoydas who wouldn't know what a hard day's work looks or feels like.   You can push buttons on gadgets, though.   Which is nice.

of course they would....don't you know OWG's give 100% at all times in their job so god forbid a foreigner of all people who should simply be thankful hes in our country making lots of money not do it

but elders aside i don't get how people in general
intelligent baseball fans much of the time
don't understand the nuance between a sharp grounder right back to the pitcher or a week pop to second base and a ball in the gap that you didnt come out of the box fast enough on and could have had a double

there are times not giving your all should be punished
but a friggin routine grounder by your best player that even if bobbled wasnt going to be safe is not one of them.
and how many times is freddie galvis or ceaser going to run themselves off the base paths before they get sat down
last night was just stupid

lolol

Rome could play a TV cop is what you're saying?

BTW - benching for lousy effort is understandable. Same when Jimmy got sat down. Although when Charlie got him it opened up the airwaves to the Cataldi Crowd to drop some hate on Jimmy.
