he had three singles where he looked one million percent....then loligagged on that play where the pitcher double clutched it....not saying he would have been safe or should have been benched but it seems clear that that was the reason...I rewound it several times and watched and he didn't appear to be in any pain whatsoever

I don't know who is saying he is hurt and not benched but I would call it invention versus speculation after watching it happen

he didn't run out a ground ball that no player would have run out....problem was the pitcher kind of double clutched and made an awkward throw...would have been out anyway but it made it a bad look...either way cant you just scold him in the dugout versus taking him out of the game when hes your only good hitter
