What's weird is TMac is passable as a football PBP guy. Maybe it's because the action is quick and he doesn't have time to be awful.

I'm so jealous of the Mets booth. There's a lot of bad announcing teams out there but the Phils are in the bottom three of the league

I disagree with him being a passable guy at anything. I'm more of a Wheels disliker than a full Wheels hater, I always considered him bad but not the worst. McCarthy literally is the worst. To me, the sound of Phillies baseball has been the radio guys ever since that option was made available on MLB.tv. Franzke and LA are miles ahead of the slop on TV and have been for many years now.

TMac actually did a good job on the radio with the NCAA BB tournament.  May have been that he was teamed with John Thompson but he wasn't bad.

One of our three sports radio stations now broadcasts Yankees games.  Oh man, now there's a group of announcers that'll make you want to drive your car into a concrete pillar.  That chick they have is pure awful.
