Yeah I don't think they're losing on purpose, but they definitely aren't trying to win as much as they did the first two years under Brown.

It's become so glaringly obvious that the franchise has zero interest in winning games that the players have stopped caring entirely.

what was funny about this game from again following it on line and just going by the score wad that they were up the entire second half by 10-12 pts...then literally in the last three minutes completely collapsed...I agree with what you are saying not playing hard and getting blown out is what has happened most of this year compared to the effort given last year especially...but this was different...seemed like a purposeful effort to do whatever it took to not win the game in the last five minutes

There's literally no lead this team can have where a fan can sit back and believe it's going to be a win. Every game is preseason to them, more about developing the players than the score.

I do think some of it comes down to the other team's pride... none of those guys want to be the first to lose to the zesty-ass Sixers. I think that more than anything else is why you see these late collapses... every other team in basketball can put up a lot of points quickly on the Sixers if they play with maximum effort. The C's cut it close and basically won this one by virtue of a three ball with 0:11 left. If that rims out I think the Sixers would have gotten a W.

Problem is he won't be whining when the Celtics get the other Simmons.

You're right though, if the Eagles (who he's been trashing -- with reason -- all season long) somehow pull the insanely unlikely upset against the Patriots, his Monday podcast instantly becomes the most satisfying sports moment of the year for me.
