Oh - and I am so happy and relieved that Nate Allen came out and said he takes full responsibility. Thank god for that!! Makes it so much better.

I'd rather put Wolff back there. He cannot be worse.

Wolff died on a kickoff, but you might still be right.

The man. The myth. The legend.

thankfully the draft gurus addressed the DB issue in the 1st round.

i was thinking this last night....how much better off would they have been if the real foles showed up last year?

they wouldve won 4-5 games, had a high pick and would be starting teddy b or that worthless troll manziel now. at least thered be hope at the qb position.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

You have to blame that. It isn't like they were just two painful third down conversions...they were long farging TDs - an NFL defense shouldn't be allowing two of those in a game.

Especially when you have the lead and there is 1:20 left in the game. You know they're going to try to get chunks of yards...so yeah, they get the majority of the blame for me

smeags

so no blame goes to the offense/kelly/foles/whoever for not being able to get a farging yard to score at td late in the game ? in both loses ?

it was a terrible brutal hideous play.....but its not why they lost

they should have been up two or three touchdowns at that point

Allen learned from Reid.  Offense and Defense get the blame in this one.  I'm hoping Foles doesn't get eaten alive by J.J. this week.  I am definitely starting HOU defense in fantasy though.

phattymatty

actually that play is exactly why they lost. because they were winning with 1:30 left in the game before that.

if that play doesn't happen, they win.

these were the field positions for five consecutive 2nd half posessions....in those five posessions the eagles gained a total of 76 yards (or one more than john brown had on his gw td catch) and two of the possesions went for negative yards....thats where the game was lost

This is most disturbing.  Now I'm even more pissed.

Yes, back in 2002.

In a broad sense you're right, but even considering that, it comes to John Brown's (JB) play. How can we give up a 75 yard TD in that situation?

good mechanics....gotta get away from all that pressure

yeah but it shouldnt have....thats like saying a fg at the buzzer is why a team lost

theres upwards of 90 plays in an nfl game....to say that one play lost a game is very short sighted
