That was easily the worst thing in the game. They only had to get an inch for a first down and three more tries at it.

SD

Foles was horrible. Throw stats out the door...two awful picks and three attempts to win the game and he throws corner end zone routes.

And what's up with him throwing so far out of bounds and with so much air under the balls? Good grief

Two 75yd TDs in the second half....that's division II college shtein

That'll happen when you're backpedaling into your 13 step drop.

Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

Don Ho

The NFL's worst red-zone offense went 0-for-3, netting all of three points.

Quote"You keep fighting, you keep moving, you keep learning. You learn from each turnover, you learn from each touchdown, you learn from each thing," Foles said after throwing 62 passes, 36 of them completed, for 411 yards, two touchdowns and those two killer picks.

QuoteBefore this year, only five kickers had three 50-yarders in their entire Eagles career. Parkey now has five in seven games. He's already tied the franchise record of three 50-yarders in a season. And he's 13 for 14 overall.

Amen.

these were the field positions for five consecutive 2nd half posessions....in those five posessions the eagles gained a total of 76 yards (or one more than john brown had on his gw td catch) and two of the possesions went for negative yards....thats where the game was lost

Watching the replay of Zona's go ahead td is infuriating. I want to reach through the screen and donkey punch Nate Allen.

That said, how anyone can actually blame (or put most of the blame on) the defense is beyond me. Offense got the ball back with 1:21 left and 2 timeouts. That's more than enough time to move the ball into scoring position....which they did, but they simply didn't execute.  The offense had excellent field position throughout the game. They settled for a fg  from the 1 yd line. They had 2 more giveaways.

Defense had 2 bad plays for the entire game. Let's blame that.

stats werent even good....below 60% completion....terrible yards per attempt...terrible qb rating....all without getting sacked a single time

Yeah that was terrible. Consistently good field position and they did dick with it.

However despite the zesty picks by Foles and his awful mechanics that caused throws to sail...and despite the failing to take advantage of good field position...they had the lead with a farging minute left.

Oh - and I am so happy and relieved that Nate Allen came out and said he takes full responsibility. Thank god for that!! Makes it so much better.

I'd rather put Wolff back there. He cannot be worse.
