Carolina's scored a couple and gone up big. So any team that wants an NFC wild card needs 10 wins. 10 wins would give the Eagles the division. So we can rule out the back door now.

also happened to fall in line with what my wish was at the time.  if carolina wins out and the saints lose to the rams, the panthers win and get the bye, saints likely get the 6 seed.  eagles win the division and they get a saints team that is way worse on the road and then go to carolina if they win that, as opposed to carolina in philly and an unwinnable game in the dome after. 

of course that all doesn't matter if the eagles don't win the division which is looking like a distinct possibility, but in case they do, you rather new orleans get the WC and not the panthers IMO.

Every Christmas I hope for the same thing. Another December meltdown in Jerryworld, camera capturing a sour face in the owner's box, me rolling around my living room laughing. I wouldn't mind opening one of my presents a little early this year.
