Death was pretty much the first thing that came to mind.  I hope the farger is stoned (by rocks that is) to death upon his return to Philadelphia.

things are obviously going to change bwtn now and the start of the season but as of right now the flyers have the highest payroll in the nhl and by a significant amount
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

i should clarify that "as of now" means for the 2013-2014 season...meaning they currently have 24 players under contract for the 2013-14 season that count towards the cap next year that add up to be the highest cap in the league...next closest team is more than 5 million below them

Generally not good news when that fact is combined with also having the lowest number of exciting players in the NHL.

Traded a 4th and a Phantom to the Islanders for the rights to Mark Streit.  Captain, offensive d-man, turns 36 in December.  Cup time
