The Angels will sign him.  They seem to like paying guys big money to suck and be hurt a lot.

I said it before but this is Greg Maddux all over again.   He'll get a bit better, keep pitching for another 3-4 years before finally checking out.   He'll never be anything more than a .500 pitcher with an ERA over 4.00.

When is he going to start getting a bit better? He has one game left -- MAYBE -- before he hits the free agent market. He has a 6.71 ERA, is obviously struggling to return from injury, and just pitched a one-inning game where he couldn't top 83mph on the radar. He'll get signed by someone hoping for a miracle, but reality suggests that what you see will be what you get.

Maddux went out as an average starter, not one of the worst in the majors. Put that arm on ice and walk into the sunset, Doc.
