2013 Philadelphia Flyers Shortened Season Thread

Finding it hard to get excited for the season. I wore Flyers crap all week and kept hearing the "excited for hockey?" question and I'd just shrug. 95% of it has to do with Bryz still being in net, 3% the lockout, 2% miscellaneous.

I hate hearing the players talk about how great Bryz looks, like you can make that determination after 1 week. Any doubt he gives up a softy within the first 10 minutes of the game tomorrow?

i didnt think i would be nor did i want to care about hockey but i cant help it....as it gets closer i am amped and all IN....probably helps they open at home against pittsburgh

flyers get national tv today and tomorrow....caps have to open up at tampa....lol

i know visnevsky from the islanders didn't come back and they had to put him on a suspended list

yeah they are both back

flyers led the league in guys who played during the lockout with 11

hopefully that gives them a small advantage to get off to a good start....of course having better legs wont prevent breezy from giving up six goals a game

it's definitely the homer in me but i think he bounces back to be good this year.

he started off bad in russia but his play picked up in the weeks before the lockout ended.

i'm more concerned about the actual dmen.  mezaros off of the achilles, i'm not thrilled iwth luke schenn and kimmo is old as dirt.  how his going to hold up playing basically every other night between now and may?

flyers pens are the number one game....i wonder how they determine that....maybe western conference cities get the western conference game and since dallas is in the west texas gets that game
