fightin legendz on the cusp of a huge upset

Yea but now that prick Bzdelik is likely back.

Looks like philly may get 3 teams in after looking like 0 was a possibility a few wks ago.

more i watch him more i really like ben mclemore....not saying hes a cant miss stud or anything but if the sixers can get up high enough to get him they have a shot at finding their two guard

He's a good player but sometimes he seems like he's either not fast/athletic enough to create his own shot or he's just disinterested/lazy at times.  He can dominate one night and then be practically invisibile the next.  Last night being a perfect example.  Only took 6 shots all game and I don't think any of them came with less than 4 min left in the game or OT.  If the game comes easy to him from the start, he's usually able to ride it from start to finish.  But if he struggles early, or if the defense is able to throw him off his game a little bit, he seems to carry that with him for the rest of the way too.

Elijah Johnson was farging insane last night.  He's not that kind of shooter, he just got into one of those zones where practically everything he chucked up towards the rim went in, but I love his intensity and the way he attacks the basket, especially in transition.  If he could bring that production to court more consistently, he'd probably be a decent NBA player too.

It was a much needed win for KU in order to stay with K-State in the Big 12, but the refs pretty much stole that game from Iowa St.  Then again, it was poorly officiated from the start, so I guess they were just being consistant.

i dont really care about consistency for a 19-20 year old...you have to conclude that will come with age....dook has a complete nba skill set and is the only player in cbb i have seen that has a chance to be elite in the league...altho i havent seen enough of shabazz muhammed

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing at all.  His all around skill set is legit and he's got a nice NBA body....or will once he adds a few more lbs of muscle....which will also come with age.  I guess I'd just like to see him be more assertive on the court.  I haven't seen much of that "type A" personality where he forces himself into the game or takes over late in games.  I know it's college and he's a frosh on a team with a few senior starters, so he pretty much has to defer to them, but he's the best player on that team and sooner or later I'd like to see him take over (or at least try to) more often than he does.  Can't be that passive in the NBA.

I don't think I've seen any UCLA games this year, so pretty much all I've seen of Muhammad are some SC highlights.

Don Ho

Got up early today and saw there were some great games on.  Started to watch the Butler/VCU game but that was over early.  Turned over to the Louisville/Syracuse game.  Great game.  Had a tournament atmosphere to it.  Luke Hancock went off for Louisville.  Never heard of the kid until today.

The bubble is god awful.  Nova is in if they split their last two.  I'll take any $ on that bet. If they go 1-1 btwn @Pitt/Gtown they're in.  Lose both and they're out barring a run in the BET.

ice grillin you

the reason nova is done is because they arent going to beat pitt or georgetown....of course anyone on the bubble can make it IF they beat _____________

the seton hall loss sealed the wildcats fate imo...not because they lost but because it tells me they are done and not beating these other teams going forward

lasalle is the big 5 team im most interested in....they have the highest ceiling....i honestly believe with the right matchups they can win two tourney games in a weak year like this...but they also could not make the tournament

they play at st louis next sat on nbcs....that is a huge litmus test for them....with the way st louis has played the last month or so id be happy with a close loss to them...get owned tho and you have to wonder

Eagles_Legendz

Well yeah but I'm saying Nova is IN now and will stay in if they split their last 2.  The SHU loss is obviously a dagger because they had the game in hand before James Bell happened.  I think they'll hang with Pitt tomorrow but I'm not optimistic they win one of their last two.

It's going to be great seeing LaSalle in again.  Agree they can make some noise with the right draw.

ice grillin you

oh you are saying nova is in as of now?

i disagree with that...id have them somewhere in the last 3-6 out
