That was actually quite a successful stretch in Philly Sports History.

Sorry, meant the birds.  1971 - 77, at least 76 meant the arrival of Vermeil.  1983 - 86, got Buddy in 86.

I was in the endzone ^^^^ watching that go down. With the exception of that goal line stance that game was a farging bore.

Todd doesn't know the suffering we've endured during the years he wasn't alive. He fills that void with being a Jew.

most meaningless story ever but i was probably 12 or 13 when that game happened and i was home alone and a squirrel went down our chimney into our wood stove.  i spent the entire afternoon constructing a path of sticks, leaves, grass and furniture trying to get him to run outside, all while this was on in the background.  at one point he stepped out and it was during one of the plays of that goal lines stand and i shouted and he went back into the wood stove.

my parents came home, screamed at me for making a mess in the living room and my dad shot the squirrel with a beebee gun

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Dad should have shot SunMo with the BeeBee gun, not for making the mess but for the future of telling the lamest story ever.

SunMo

at least you took the attention away from my story with that horrible line.  i appreciate it.

I rather appreciated Sunny's story. It lets me know under all of that darkness....there used to be light in his heart.

Thank you SunMo for sharing.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Ha! Well, thanks, I didn't think you'd mind me borrowing a page from your book.
