It's a crapshoot whatever they do but Kuechley was ultra productive in college.  He's doing pretty well in the pros.

keuchley is the perfect example in this case...just a terrible top ten pick...hell play in the league for ten years but will be largely forgettable...if you scout properly should almost always be able to get an equivalent player in the second or third round...if im taking a middle linebacker in the top ten he better have off the charts measureables and guy that has an incredible ceiling...im not taking that position that high because someone has passion and plays for touchdown jesus
Yeah. He was a safe pick, you'll get what you expect. That's it. If I draft a linebacker in the top 10 it better be someone who makes a shtein ton of plays like a Von Miller. A buddy of mine is a Panthers fan (I dunno) and I asked how Keuchly was doing. Said he's solid and stable. Is that what you want out of a top 10 pick? He has 1 sack and 1 pick this year. No FF. Obvously it's only a 12 game sample, but that's exactly what you expect out of Kuechly. If I'm in the top 10, I'm not drafting a dude whose best assets are being solid, stable, and having a low floor. farg that.

exactly...and you wouldnt know from the eagles but you can get some damn good lb's in the second and third rounds

shtein id rather have kendricks than keuchly....darryl washington and navarro bowman were 2nd and 3rd respectively

other than von when was the last great linebacker taken in the top ten...been a while...much less taken in the top 5 where the eagles should end up...take jarvis jones up there fine ill take my chances....but no farging way should they take teo that high...it would be a travesty...if you are going lb that high he has to be a edge guy...you cant waste a pick like that on a hole stuffer...especially in the passing league that nfl is now

The Eagles are definitely adept at getting LB's in the 2nd/3rd rounds.

lol @ using FR as a stat to back someone's worth. I wouldn't have invested a top 10 pick in a player like Kuechly. I know basically nothing about Te'o so I'm not gonna say anything about him.

That said, get Jarvis Jones.

Rome

I wasn't using it as a stat to BACK!HIM!UP!

It does indicate that he has a nose for the ball, though.

I think it's despicable that these coaches get to bail on their current programs before the bowl season ends.  If you're a current coach and your team is heading to a postseason game, you have to stick it out until it's over.  Also - if the coach gets to leave whenever the farg he wants, the players should be able to do the same without having to wait a year.  In short, CFB can suck it until the inequities in the system are ironed out.

Butch Jones continues to deny that he's leaving Cincy for Colorado even though it's been reported by multiple sources

EDIT: he turned them down and supposedly is waiting for an offer from Tennessee

Is it official, Jones to Tennessee?

dont care

the school that i cover might be a rival of shs....in 20 years. instead of having a few different colleges in south texas, they are forming into one. that should put them over the top and get them football. but itll take a while for them to allocate the resources for it and develop enough rich graduates with cash to throw away.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
