basically. he was the worst coach i have ever seen and that includes andy reid and the mexicans i cover.

he inquired about the uconn job 2 weeks after temple hired him. i get it...temple sucks. we all know. but at least play out a season before trying to move up.

Todd, you'll like this guy. Hawaii fans wanted Norm Chow to hire him and groom him as his heir apparent. Thought for sure he'd get the Nevada HC job. Got hosed by June Jones when he started Timmy Chang over him. When he ended up starting after Chang got hurt he lit it up.

Rough week for the Te'o family. His dad, Brian is all pissed off with the Honolulu Star-Advertiser for running a picture of Manti getting rolled against Alabama the day after the game. Caption said "Bowled Over". His dad went off saying he is boycotting the paper and called for others to do the same. Called the picture unflattering and that he was always good to the paper providing interviews, pictures, access to Manti, etc.

His friend created the account years ago as a prank but once Te'o was in on it, they made up a fake death story so he could get national attention. The friend was using pics of a former classmate from Facebook (who didn't realize what was going) and got caught using an updated pic that had been emailed to him, and from there, someone pieced things together and figured out that the dead gf never existed (which is what gets explained in the other 9500 words).
