He also won the Walter Camp Award (best all-around), the Lombardi Award (best lineman/LB), the Butkus Award (best LB), the Bednarik Award (best defensive player) and the Bronko Nagurski Award (also best defensive player).  But hey, he's gonna be a bust

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Are you saying Chris Wenke wasn't a great pro because if so me & you got bidness.

<massive internet flex>

SunMo

he's a fine player, but he's been totally overrated this year for two reasons

1) he plays for notre dame and gets national recognition every week
2)he suffered a terrible tragedy and played through it, cried on tv and he's everybody's sympathy vote
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Rome

If the Eagles picked him he'd instantly become their best linebacker (faint praise I know but still)...

Get T'eo!

im not saying he wont play in nfl...im saying he should not be a top ten pick or anywhere really close

i think he will be a largely forgettable player in the league

He has all the measurables you look for in a LB.

I could say he'll be anything from a bust to a HOF'er and not be wrong too.

Personally I like him because he plays with passion and reckless abandon, qualities that are sorely lacking with the losers they have now.

It's a crapshoot whatever they do but Kuechley was ultra productive in college.  He's doing pretty well in the pros.

I'm aware that winning the Heisman doesn't mean shtein in the NFL (and the last 25 years since Barry Sanders is proof of that), but the guys projected to go top 5-10 in the draft following their win usually have decent careers.

(btw Joeckel won the Outland Trophy if that's who most of you want)

keuchley is the perfect example in this case...just a terrible top ten pick...hell play in the league for ten years but will be largely forgettable...if you scout properly should almost always be able to get an equivalent player in the second or third round...if im taking a middle linebacker in the top ten he better have off the charts measureables and guy that has an incredible ceiling...im not taking that position that high because someone has passion and plays for touchdown jesus

if the eagles take teo in the top 5 then just do a cleveland....move the franchise to la but keep the name and colors...take off a few years and then come back

Yeah. He was a safe pick, you'll get what you expect. That's it. If I draft a linebacker in the top 10 it better be someone who makes a shtein ton of plays like a Von Miller. A buddy of mine is a Panthers fan (I dunno) and I asked how Keuchly was doing. Said he's solid and stable. Is that what you want out of a top 10 pick? He has 1 sack and 1 pick this year. No FF. Obvously it's only a 12 game sample, but that's exactly what you expect out of Kuechly. If I'm in the top 10, I'm not drafting a dude whose best assets are being solid, stable, and having a low floor. farg that.

Rome

Kuechley has 114 tackles, 5 pass defenses and 3 recovered fumbles in 12 games.  The Panthers have an atrocious defense but he's not a reason why.  Besides, is Demeco Ryans anyone's dream date at the position?  Maybe five years ago but give me a game changer please.  I think Te'o is a guy like that.   If he's not, oh well... The Eagles have done worse than getting a ten year plus starter.
