plus watch out for amares knee in this meat grinder schedule
This might be the most important point. Guys like him are more likely to get hurt, and stay hurt. All the games packed into a shorter time period is going to favor a team like the Sixers because they're really deep and really young. Aside from Brand and Iggy everyone who plays is 25 or younger. I wouldn't consider Iggy old at 27 either, and running an 8 or 9 man rotation is gonna keep these guys fresh for a long time. That's gonna kill teams like the Knicks where Melo and Amare have to be on the floor 40+ minutes every night when they have 4 or 5 games a week, every week, until mid-February.

I still like thaddeus coming off the bench for the 2nd unit to provide scoring, because the problem with full time starter minutes for him is he still has a hard time facilitating plays and maintaining the flow of the offense. watch him when he gets ball--his first instinct is to drive to the basket or shoot no matter what.

thats cause he has no touch whatsoever...and i dont mean just touch on his shot...he cant finesse anything...everything he does is fast...it could be a pass or it could be a take to the rim....which is not a good thing in pro ball......his bball IQ is really low

he is really good near or at the basket but other than that he gets lost a lot

ironically for a guy who you would thinks bets attribute would be instant offense off the bench his biggest asset to me is defense...hes really long on that end of the court and does a really good job defending
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

im at work and i watched on the zesty illegal feed

and once again their lack of a go-to guy shines it ugly head. needed some big buckets down the stretch and they aint comin from dre dog or sweet lou.

not much they can do since this person does not exist on their roster but its frustrating at the end of games to know they dont have much of a chance.

With Lou they have a chance, but he's their only chance. That bounce on the layup at the end was unlucky but I'm fairly confident when he has the ball, compared to others anyways. Hawes shoulda had that tip easy. Iguodala coming up 0-3 FT in the 4th, including missing both with around 2:20 left is no surprise. It's amazing that he always plays so well during the game but chokes like a fargtard in a different way every time the game is on the line.

SD

shtein loss. They showed they're a better team than the Jazz in stretches but couldn't maintain any consistency. Agree with everything Todd wrote, they don't have that go to player down the stretch.

Not a good start tonight - they're getting whipped. Better wake up...

MDS

they woke up, bitch

and malik is hideously bad i still contend hes better than e snow

I am listening to it on the radio.

Good to see them wake up though...I still worry about the damn perimeter defense.

Helluva turnaround!

From down 20-8 to leading 63-43.

Iggy looks to be on his way to a triple double.

This team was pretty damn close to being 4-0.  Warriors cut it to 15 early in the 4th but it was back to 20 before you knew it.  Very impressive win tonight.

Quoteust going up on ESPN online: Grizzlies in advanced talks to acquire big man Marreese Speights from Philly in three-team deal w/Hornets

QuoteTrade, on course to be completed Wednesday, would send Speights to Grizz, Xavier Henry to Hornets and furnish Philly with two future picks
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
