Clayton suggesting the 49ers could be players in this situation.

Patrick Willis and it's a done deal

Second.  Although, I hate to admit it, IGY's right.  They don't care about LBs.

What in the name of God is going on here?

sd is right...they might address linebacker but they arent going to do it by giving up a top CB
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I don't even understand why SF would want a corner. They have Spencer and Clements, and the rest of their defense is in worse shape than the Eagles was 48 hours ago.

He was the highest paid corner when he signed that deal, no?  I remember it being big money.

yeah he was....i see what you are saying by saving money....they wont have to pay him his salary this year....i dont really count that as saving money compared to avoiding a bonus or some shtein....technically it is saving but salaries are not guarateed...a nate clements situation this year is exactly what the owners have fought for in every cba ever negotiated since the beginning of time

Reported to camp today. I say keep all three.

Supporting argument:
QuoteSnap counts for Packers 3 CBs in playoff gm. vs. Eagles: Woodson (66/66), Williams (65/66) and Shields (63/66) (from @profootballfocus).

Asante spoke to press. Said a lot of stuff that makes it sound like he expects to be traded. That is all.
