I was listening to Sirius on the way home tonight and the guy on Mad Dog's channel had Bob Nightengale on and he said people have told him that Braun passed the re-test. Brewers beat writers are saying the same thing along with the supposition that whatever the information they (the lab) has will show the false positive.

hes been tested plenty of times before this one test (we assume) and his powers numbers werent even higher this year than they were earlier in his career.

my guess what happened is since espn lost the scoop war on both pujols and the paul trade and wanted to come back over the top with something. and what they have is unconfirmed and speculative.

ESPN has a lot of mud on their faces in the last week, assuming this is indeed a bogus report. They withheld the Fine tape and now may have jumped the gun on this a sullied Braun's name. If proven false and Braun is cleared I wonder if he sues their balls off?

And the leak within baseball who let this get out there should be smoked out too...bad news all around

considering no positive tests have been overturned their odds are pretty good that itll stick, but no one is quite sure yet HOW he came out positive. it very well may be what you think, it could be something else.

either way what espn has now isnt enough to run with, especially with no one on the record.

i know how he came out positive....because he shot up or swallowed lots of steroids.....this isnt rocket science

that said mlb is going to do everything in their power to make this go away so it wouldnt surprise me if we have a back n forth....but he def did them
