A bunch of teams sold shares some to hedge funds for the first time... I don't know that we can take this sale as indication that Lori is trying to raise money for a new stadium... more likely he just wants some cash

id put nothing past lurie's greed but they've been pouring money into the linc...to just randomly pivot and want a $1B indoor stadium and leave a white elephant makes no sense.

though i will say what the patriots have (a mall/hotel attached to the stadium so they control the entire weekend) and the fancy ass stadiums in LA, Dallas, etc. that host major events does give these billionaire fargs major FOMO and lord help us when jeffy wants a new toy

They already did a Wrestlemania at the Linc. It could have been a cold, rainy shteinshow in April, yet it was still the highest ever grossing event for the WWE. Put a roof on, add whatever hotels, casinos, restaurants, or whatever you want for events and get even richer.

If the new stadium is in the same location, they could always just build on what will surely be the abandoned Wells Fargo Center once the Sixers leave. I assume they won't get a professional hockey team before then. Or build on the parking lots and listen to people bitch for four years until the Linc gets demolished.

the game was handpicked to be all alone at 425. expected to be a massive nfc east game.

its a really weird week with the extra xmas and saturday games, so they felt this was a lock to be a game of meaning to put it here. welp, the cowboys had other ideas. ill be catching this one from some place in the dominican. bar? book? seranthony dominguez's crib?

WTF with the kickoffs on Sunday?  Every kickoff was terrible! If I recall there were penalties and descent returns on evey kick.  Was the wind playing havoc?  Little McCaffrey Jr. capitalizing on the weak kicks.  Seems like every Washington drive started from their 40 yard line minimum.
