As for hotels, I did a quick search and found a Howard Johnson for $50/night.  I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a bed to pass out in.  But it got decent reviews in terms of cleanliness and it's only 4 miles from the stadium and is close to downtown as well. 

Also, this was the first user review that I read:

While the room was comfortable and clean, we were on the side adjacent to a very active and noisy night club, open into the wee hours every morning. On one night, there were even people soliciting directly in the motel parking lot.

Adjacent to a night club and has flesh peddlers in the parking lot?  In. 

Not sure if the rest of the elitists will lower their standards but this is where I'm staying.

Pretty sure we're staying right in downtown Nashville, although not sure where. Someplace we can Priceline it for $80 a night or so...
