3. Magic Johnson (I cried when he announce he had HIV)
4. Nick Van Exel (excitement in his hay day)
5. Manny Ramirez (no other athlete has captivated as much as him in as little a time)

the point is this...you try so hard every day to be clever, and it's painful to read.  just leave it too the people who are good at it.  just put down the cliche book, and post straight, and maybe you won't make such an ass out of yourself on a daily basis.
