all this talk about getting a TE, I think Celek just made that point moot in this game

He might not be the Witten type TE we are all looking for that effectively blocks and catches on a consistent basis, but he is about as sure-handed as it gets when it comes to picking up yards and making big plays.

Hes about as good as Jason Avant when the ball is thrown his way, and you really cant ask for much more than that

Great game.

Celek is Chad Lewis which is fine because he gets 9 yards every time he catches the ball unlike LJ who drops it but is good for an occasional big play once every 4 games

Celek and Avant are the same player. Big white dudes who catch everything and fall back towards the line of scrimmage after they secure the ball. Yards after the catch is not an option for either of them.

Avant is solid. Celek is solid. Even Curtis is solid when playing against a soft coverage. They still need that one guy...since they still refuse to run the ball.

they won. they probably shouldnt even be playing right now but they are, and they are one of the final 8 teams with a chance at winning it all - and some of you cant even enjoy it.

I enjoyed the win.  Doesn't mean I can't be critical of the way they played, especially on offense.  They shtein the bed repeatedly today and will get waxed by a team that doesn't have a complete dumb ass for a head coach.

A team that had no business being in an NFL playoff game played horribly and won against a team that had no business being in an NFL playoff game after plowing a team that was expected to make a superbowl run.
